  • What services does Woofy offer?
    We offer daycare during weekdays and overnight hotel stays on selected weekends and holiday periods, like school vacation. Next day bookings are available for both daycare and hotel stays for last minute flexibility.
  • Where is Woofy located?
    Woofy is located on Beaulieu's grounds, at Av. Bergière 10, 1004 Lausanne. However, access to Woofy is made from the intersection between Av. Jomini and Av. Mont-Blanc. Please visit our 'Location' page for directions.
  • Can I visit Woofy before booking a service?
    Yes! Please contact us to schedule a tour.
  • What if my pet requires veterinary care while at Woofy?
    If deemed necessary based on staff observations, Woofy will seek veterinary care for your pet. All associated costs will be the responsibility of the owner.
  • What are the vaccination requirements for my pet
    Your pet must be vaccinated against Kennel Cough, Leptospirosis, and should be dewormed every 3 months and treated for parasites monthly. If the expiry date of a vaccination is within 1 month of an upcoming booking, we will request that you reschedule your booking until the relevant vaccination is repeated.
  • What if my pet has special dietary needs?
    No problem! The Woofy Discovery includes discussion on your dog's specific needs, including any dietary restrictions. You can also inform us of any special dietary needs during the booking process and/or when you drop-off your dog. Appropriate measures will be taken accordingly.
  • How does Woofy ensure the health and safety of all pets?
    We maintain strict health and safety protocols, including vaccination checks, regular health assessments, and a clean, secure environment. The dogs are supervised at all times by team of professional and trained dog carers. A security system is in place both inside Woofy, as well as on Beaulieu's grounds.
  • Is my pet insured while in your care?
    We recommend that all pets are insured. Woofy is not liable for any illness, injury, or accident during your pet’s stay.
  • What are Woofy's opening hours?
    Woofy is open Monday to Friday, from 07:45 to 19:00. Special hours are applied for selected dates in which we offer overnight hotel stays. These will be communicated during the booking process.
  • How do I get to Woofy? Is there parking available?
    Woofy's official address is Av. Bergière 10, 1004 Lausanne. However, access is via the intersection between Av. Jomini and Av. Mont-Blanc. Please visit our Location page for instructions.
  • Are there any restrictions on the breeds of dogs you accept?
    We are not allowed to accept breeds which require special authorization from the Vaud canton, including the American Staffordshire Terrier (Amstaff), American Pit Bull Terrier (Pit Bull Terrier) and Rottweiler breeds. Please check with local regulations or contact us for more information on specific breed restrictions.
  • How do I book a service for my dog?
    All bookings must be made through our online booking system, available here.
  • How do I pay for the services?
    Payment is required upfront by debit or credit card during the booking process.
  • Your system doesn't allow me to book daycares!
    Bookings for daycares are reserved for the Woofy Members Club. To join, you must complete a Woofy Discovery, which includes a half-day trial. Once we observe that your dog acclimates well to the environment and other dogs, we will add you as a member in the booking system. This will grant you access to book our daycare service.
  • Can I make a booking over the phone or via email?
    No. All bookings must be made through our online booking system, here. This helps us manage availability and ensure all information is accurately captured.
  • Can I change my booking after it has been confirmed?
    Yes! You can reschedule your booking up to 24 hours before the start of your appointment. Modifications are done through our online system, subject to availability. Please refer to our cancellation and rescheduling policy for more details.
  • What is Woofy's cancellation policy?
    You can cancel your booking for a full refund if done at least 72 hours before the scheduled arrival time. For detailed information, please refer to our Terms & Conditions.
  • How do I update my contact or pet information?

  • What is the 'Woofy Discovery' trial day?
    The 'Woofy Discovery' is a half-day trial where we observe how your dog acclimates to our environment and other dogs, before granting access to our full range of services. It is the first step as a new client, in order to become a part of the Woofy Members Club. Book here.
  • What happens if I pick up my pet late from daycare?
    If you pick up your pet later than the specified time but on the same day, a CHF 40 penalty fee will apply. If your pet stays overnight unexpectedly, a hotel fee at 150% of the daily rate will be charged, to compensate for unexpected disruption to the business and related costs.
  • Will my dog be walked outside?
    Yes! Your dog will have at least 1 outdoor walk of minimum 45 minutes and multiple potty breaks outside. Depending on the daily schedule, we may add another outdoor walk at no extra costs.
  • What is included in the daycare service?
    Your dog will experience: A full rotation across our 4 Woofy experience rooms. Play and enrichment activities adapted their unique personality and needs Minimum 1 outdoor walk (+45 minutes) and multiple potty breaks outside Cuddles and snacks guaranteed
  • How do you handle feeding during daycare?
    Your dog should receive their daily meal(s) at home, before and/or after their daycare. If your dog has a special feeding schedule and requires to be fed at Woofy, please let us know.
  • Why is the hotel service only available on specific dates?
    New hotel dates will be release depending on the demand. If you would like to request new dates, please submit your request here.
  • What are the check-in and check-out times for hotel services?
    Check-in is at 12:00 and check-out is at 11:00. They are also specified in your booking confirmation. Late check-out until 19:00 or early check-in as of 07:45 are available for purchase as add-on services.
  • What should I bring for my dog's stay?
    Please bring your dog's food and medication (if any), as well as any other items that are important for the wellbeing of your dog.
  • What happens if I don't check-out / pick-up my dog on time?
    If you fail to pick up your pet on time and did not purchase a late check-out beforehand, you will be charged at 150% of the daily hotel rate. Please consult our Terms & Conditions
  • What is included in the hotel service?
    Your dog will experience: Daily rotation across the 4 Woofy experience rooms Different play and enrichment activities everyday that are adapted to their daily needs At least 1 daily walk of +45 minutes and multiple potty breaks Cuddles and snacks guaranteed so that they feel loved and cared for
  • Can I extend my pet's stay if my plans change?
    If you need to extend your pet's stay, please contact us as soon as possible. Extensions are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
  • Can I receive updates about my pet during their stay?
    Absolutely! We'll regularly update you via Whatsapp during your dog's stay with us. You can also contact us via Whatsapp or phone.

  • Do you offer grooming services?
    We offer a 'wash, dry & brush' as an add-on service for daycare and hotel stays. We are not a professional grooming service and do not perform coat or nail trimmings.
  • Do you offer any discounts for multiple pets or extended stays?
    Yes! You can purchase daycare packages at discounted rates. If you would like to book recurring services, please contact us.
